My name is Cubbie. My foster sister sometimes calls me “Cubster” for fun, but I answer to Cubbie. My name has a back story…or more precisely, a “back end story.” In place of a tail, I have a small little tuft of hair. The first time my foster mom met me she said my furry little bottom looked like a little bear cub. I think my lack of a tail in addition to my very handsome markings make me extra special! I am just a pup, so I love to do fun things like other puppies. The resident dog and I have become very good friends. I was kind of scared of her at first because she was a little too excited to meet me, but now we are besties. She is so good at teaching me new games like Tug Of War, chase and wrestling. She also has introduced me to chew bones and other dog-friendly toys, which are really handy since I am not allowed to chew on shoes. My human foster sister is 12 and she has taught me some really fun commands like sit, shake, lay and stay. I think I am a pretty fast learner but the treats she gives me do help me stay focused when we work. I have to say I am also a pretty good roommate. I sleep quietly in my kennel at night and I let my foster family know when I need to use the “facilities” outside to go potty. I am a pretty chill dude and like my down time to rest and snuggle, especially after I get to wrestle with the resident dog for a while. I am not as hyper as some other puppies my age are, so my manners are pretty good.

I really am excited to find my forever family so I can learn more things and go on many new adventures. I know you will fall in love with me if you take the time to meet me. My soft brown eyes have a pretty great effect on the ladies, for sure!
