Spot is the kind of cat people dream about. She’s beautiful, affectionate, and full of personality. When she’s not chasing a toy or exploring, she wants to be curled up in your lap, happily soaking up attention and giving gentle little kisses. Spot truly loves people and thrives on companionship.

Spot has been through quite a journey. Earlier in her life she needed eye surgery, and she has recovered well. Her vision isn’t perfect, but she can see, and her hearing is excellent. None of that slows her down—she still enjoys playing, exploring, and spending time with her favorite humans.

Spot’s mother tested positive for FeLV, and Spot is currently carrying the virus as well. Because of this, she would need to be the only cat in the home for now. She will be retested in about a month, and there is a chance she may clear the virus—but we simply won’t know until then.

Right now, Spot is feeling lonely. Her two siblings recently passed away, and she’s adjusting to being on her own. More than anything, she would love a forever home with someone willing to take a chance on her and give her the love and attention she deserves.

Adopting Spot does involve some uncertainty. If she remains FeLV positive, she could still live a happy life, though there is also a possibility she could develop leukemia in the future. What we do know for certain is that she is an incredibly special cat with so much love to give.
