Snowball was rescued from the cold outdoors with a very severe case of frostbite. She has lost the tip of her left ear and part of her tail due to the cold. All four of her paws were affected by the frostbite and she was unable to do anything but sit in her warm bed because her paws were so sore. They have now healed and she is beginning to move around more. She follows her foster mom around the house, talking to her the whole time. She is a very curious girl, but also cautious. She carefully checks new places and people out, but once she determines she is safe and people can be trusted, she opens up and her personality shines. She has gone from not leaving the safety of her cat bed to curling up on a blanket with foster mom and purring herself to sleep. Snowball is a very beautiful cat with expressive green eyes. She has a lot of personality and is just starting to display it. She hisses at new cats initially, but is not aggressive. She quickly warms up to them once she knows they are friendly.

If you are looking for a companion who will be your side kick and visit with you during the day, but also curl up and nap with you when you need a rest, Snowball is your girl!
