Hello Everyone,

It’s my first day with Journey Home Animal Rescue. Let me tell you so far they have been great. I am placed with a foster family at the moment until I find a family that is looking to take me into their loving home. I once was with a loving family that had to surrender me, I have been with them since I was a puppy. Yes, you can say my world has been turned upside down at the moment. I currently live with two small chihuahuas, two children 11 and 10, I seem to fit in. I have already started showing this family I love naps, playing with my toys and listening to them talk to me. I will check back in soon with more updates on my new transition.

Meet Roscoe — Your Loyal, Goofy, and Loving Adventure Buddy!

Roscoe is a 5-year-old medium-sized Beagle mix (with a dash of Heeler or Cattle Dog charm, if you ask his foster mom!) who’s ready to find his forever family.

Roscoe is the perfect mix of playful and affectionate. He loves his toys—especially the stuffed ones he can proudly shred to pieces—and he’s always up for a walk, car ride, or visit to see his “foster grandma.” When playtime is over, Roscoe enjoys snuggling up on the couch with his people (but only if he’s invited, of course—he’s a true gentleman that way!).

This sweet boy is great with other dogs and children, and he’s even met a cat without much interest. Roscoe is very family-oriented and lives to make his people happy—he’s the kind of dog who just wants to be loved and included.

Roscoe is currently learning that he doesn’t need to bark for attention. With gentle reminders like “be calm, no bark” and lots of positive reinforcement, he’s improving every day! He can be a little nervous meeting new people at first, but once he feels safe, his big heart shines through.

Roscoe’s dream home would have a fenced yard for playtime and a patient, loving family who will continue to show him how wonderful the world can be.
