Meet Q-Tip

At just six months old and a tiny 7 pounds, Q-tip is a petite Maltese mix with the cutest pointy ears and a soft, fluffy charm that’s impossible to resist. She came from a breeder release situation and is still learning what it means to be a loved companion. Because of her past, she’s very under-socialized and can be unsure of human touch and being picked up is not her favorite thing right now.

But don’t let that fool you, this little girl has so much love in her heart, she just doesn’t quite know how to show it yet. What she does know is how to make friends with other dogs! Q-Tip absolutely thrives around her canine companions and would do best in a home with a confident, friendly dog to help guide her and show her the ropes.

One thing that always brings out her personality? Food! Q-Tip has the silliest little wag when treats are involved, and it’s a glimpse into the happy, playful pup she’s becoming.

Q-Tip is looking for a patient, understanding home that will give her the time and space she needs to blossom at her own pace. A fenced yard is important for her comfort and safety, and a calm environment will help her continue to build trust.
