Meet Norman!
Norman is great with his foster family’s small dog and 1.5 year old child. He is potty trained and does well in his kennel during the night in our room, but we are working on his anxiety when being left alone. Otherwise, he is very quiet and laid back. He loves walks and is good on the leash, which is great because he is hoping to lose a few pounds! His favorite thing to do is snuggle up next to you on the couch for a long nap.
Norman would do well in a variety of homes. His only requirements would be that you help him on his weight loss journey, and also give lots of belly rubs. If you’re looking for a sweet boy who adores his people, Norman is your guy!

Meet Norman!
If you’re looking for a well-mannered, laid back dog who just wants to be wherever you are, Norman is your guy.
Why you’ll fall in love with him:
- Kid friendly: He does great with his foster family’s 1.5 year old toddler and busy household. Noise and activity do not seem to bother him, he just keeps snoozing!
- Dog neutral: He gets along well with his foster family’s small dog and is very respectful. They will happily hang out together.
- Social: He does well around people. He is relaxed and doesn’t demand attention.
- Walking buddy: He loves walks and is great on the leash, which is a good thing because he is hoping to lose a few pounds!
- Travel partner: He likes car rides and enjoys going wherever his humans go.
- Potty trained: He always lets us know when he needs to go outside and is quick to do his business.
This sweet boy has one preference: he wants to spend as much time with his new humans as possible. Even with his foster dog sibling around, he experiences separation anxiety when left home alone (howling, whining, panting, and pawing at his kennel door). He is in search of an adopter who would be willing to work with him on his anxiety, or someone who already lives in an ideal household, such as someone who is:
- Retired
- Works from home
- Wants to take a chill, well-behaved dog into the office with them
- Willing to use pet sitters, family members, or daycare
You will not find a more loyal, loving, and easygoing companion than Norman.
