Mongo has been in his foster home for a couple of days now and he has fit right in. He was a little shy at first but ultimately he loves affection and warmed up very quickly. He loves scratches and snuggling up on the couch. He has a small canine foster brother and they get along well. He is very mild tempered but has occasionally shown us his playful side. He walks very well on a leash and sleeps well in his kennel at night. He will occasionally whine when kenneled while his foster family is out. He hasn’t had any accidents in his foster home but he likes to mark when he is outside. We occasionally utilize a belly band just incase, but he hasn’t attempted to mark in the home so far. He hasn’t met any children or cats, that we know of, but based on his calm demeanor we think he would do just fine. Mongo is such a wonderful dog and will be a fantastic addition to any family.
