Kimber is the perfect mix of playful and affectionate. At about 2 years old, she’s still got plenty of puppy energy—she loves to zoom around the apartment, chase tennis balls like it’s her life’s purpose, and enthusiastically shred any stuffed toy that dares to enter her domain. She’s also a big fan of tug-of-war and will happily challenge you to a friendly match. She loves going on walks where she can sniff and explore—her nose is always on a mission!

Kimber is incredibly smart and eager to please. She picks up new things fast and thrives with structure, training, and mental stimulation. She does wonderfully in her crate and settles in calmly when it’s time to rest.

When the fun is over, she’s all about the cuddles. Kimber loves being close to her humans and makes a loyal, affectionate companion.

Like many dogs, Kimber can get a little nervous in vet settings, but with a patient, reassuring person she does well. She responds best to calm handling and lots of gentle encouragement—especially with a good peanut butter distraction!

She’d be happiest with an active person or family who can keep up with her energy, playtime, and brainpower—but they’ll get endless love (and lots of entertainment) in return.
