Hello! I can't wait to find my forever family.

My prior family dumped me in the country, and I was on the run for about a week until I had to be live trapped because I was so scared. Since I had to live on my own for a while, I really love being close to my people. I am an affectionate boy who thrives on attention, pets, and spending time with my family.

I am still a puppy, which means I have lots of energy and love to play! Whether it's fetch, toys, wrestling with dog friends, or just having fun with my people, I'm always ready for an adventure. I am a very smart boy who is learning every day with consistency. I listen well, come when called, and learn quickly when I'm given structure and guidance.

Because I get so excited about life, I can sometimes struggle to regulate my enthusiasm. I may jump up when meeting new people, and I can be a little mouthy when I'm excited, but I'm learning that sitting politely gets me much more attention. I would do best with a family committed to continuing my training and helping me build on the great progress I've already made.

I absolutely love other dogs and have done well with every dog I've met: big or small, young or old! I also do great with my foster family's cats and even their bird. I enjoy being around children too, but in my excitement I have been known to accidentally knock little ones over, so a home with older, dog-savvy kids may be the best fit.

I am working on kennel training and can be vocal at first because I just want to be by your side, so apartment life isn't for me. I would LOVE a fenced yard where I can run, play, and burn off some energy. Another playful dog friend could be fun too!

I'm also a great traveler and do wonderfully on a leash, making me an excellent companion for any adventure.

Most importantly, I love everyone, including the kids I meet and am not picky about who my people are, I just want a family to love me forever. If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate, playful, and smart companion, I can't wait to meet you!
