Meet our sweet shy girl Jetta 💕

This adorable puppy is the definition of gentle and quiet. I’ve only heard her bark a couple of times since she’s been here. She’s still learning that people are safe, so she can be timid at first and doesn’t quite know how to walk on a leash yet or come up for attention on her own.

But once you move slowly and give her space, her personality starts to shine. She loves when you lay next to her and pet her, and she gets the cutest little tail wags with her ears pinned back when she’s happy. You can tell she wants love — she just seems scared of getting “caught” sometimes.

She doesn’t like being alone and prefers being near her people, even if she isn’t ready to climb into your lap yet. She whines a little when first kenneled but settles down quickly and goes to sleep.

She absolutely LOVES other dogs and really comes out of her shell when she has canine friends to play with. She’s playful, sweet, and I truly think she’s a very smart girl who simply missed out on early socialization. We’re working on building her confidence every single day, and she’s already making progress.

House training is still a work in progress, but she’s doing well and improving consistently.

She’s needs a patient, loving home that will let her move and learn at her own pace! 💗
