Hi, I’m Gertie! I’m a young Golden Retriever who is as sweet as can be. Sometimes my foster family doesn’t even know I’m here because I’m so quiet! I sleep through the night, am kennel-trained, and go potty outside.

My foster home has another dog, a cat, and kiddos ages 9 and 12. When I first got here, the cat made it clear she didn’t like me, so I’ve since learned to stay away from her. I enjoy playing with the other dog and taking out all of his toys. I also love running around and showing everyone the toys I find.

I will make a great dog for any family! I enjoy going for walks but also love snuggling. I currently have a fenced-in yard, but I don’t need one.
