Meet Fergie!

Fergie came into rescue after her owner became ill and could no longer care for her. She had some previous medical challenges, but those seem to be in the past, and her foster mom has seen continuous improvement since welcoming her.

Fergie absolutely loves her people. Whether she is following you around the house, joining you for a walk, or snoozing on the couch, she is a loyal companion. She was a bit overweight when she first entered rescue, and while her walking stamina has improved significantly, she is still working on her leash manners. Passing dogs tend to catch her attention, and she can be a bit protective of her walker and her foster dog sister.

Overall, Fergie is a lover who gets along well with kids, dogs, and cats. She can be vocal when she sees an unfamiliar face or hears a delivery person knocking, but she is fully potty trained and kennels well. She would thrive in a home that loves affection, as receiving belly rubs and giving kisses are her absolute favorite things.
