Hi… I’m Emmy. (Well, sometimes I go by Emelia Lou Grace if I’m feeling fancy… or Emmy Lou if you’re a friend.)
I know what you’re thinking—I look a little grumpy. I promise it’s just my face. Underneath, I’m a very sweet girl… just a quiet one.
I’m around 6–7 years old, and I’ve spent a good part of my life figuring things out on my own, so the whole “living in a house with people” thing is still a bit new to me. I’m learning more every day, though, and I’m doing really well—especially when I have a calm, cozy space to settle into.
I can be pretty shy at first, and I don’t love being picked up or held. It’s just not my thing. But once I feel safe with you, I’ll come sit beside you and enjoy gentle pets. I like being near my people… just in my own quiet way.
I would do best in a peaceful home with someone patient and kind—someone who understands that trust takes time, but is so worth it. If you give me the space to be myself, I promise I’ll meet you there with soft companionship and lots of quiet love.
