Eleanor is a big girl with an even bigger heart. After spending several months in the pound, she came to her foster home understandably unsure of the world around her. Since then, she’s been slowly rebuilding her confidence, learning that she’s safe, loved, and finally has the space to just be herself.

Eleanor walks beautifully on a leash, is potty trained, and is a wonderful kennel dog. She happily eats and sleeps in her kennel with no complaints, making her an easy addition to a household with a kennel routine.

When Eleanor first arrived, it took her some time to feel comfortable with the other dogs in the home. She needed to move at her own pace and figure out that these new canine friends could be trusted. Once she came out of her shell, though, everything changed! Now she loves playing with her canine foster siblings, and they have become the best of friends.

Eleanor also has a very sweet, affectionate side with her people. She loves snuggling up with her foster parents and soaking up the love she may have been missing for a long time.

Eleanor has absolutely blossomed since coming to her foster home- learning to trust, learning to play, and learning that she deserves to be loved. We think her forever family is going to be very lucky to watch her continue to become the happy, confident girl she was always meant to be.
