Charlie is an AWESOME little girl! At just 4 months old, she appears to be completely house-trained and hasn't had a single accident, despite coming from a questionable background.

She's a smart, happy puppy who learns quickly and is highly food-motivated. We're currently working on name recognition, and she's picking it up fast. Charlie loves toys, especially ones that help soothe her teething gums, and does well when redirected from inappropriate chewing to a toy.

Charlie gets along wonderfully with our resident dog and enjoys wrestling and playing in the yard. She also does great with cats, in fact, our cats adore her! She's been gentle and appropriate with both little and big kids, though she can be a bit timid if approached too quickly and will seek reassurance from her people.

She is curious about meeting new people and dogs but likes having a trusted person nearby while she builds confidence. On walks, she's alert and aware of her surroundings, and we're helping her learn to relax and focus. She's already showing that she forms strong bonds with her family and will alert you when something unfamiliar catches her attention.

At night, Charlie settles in a crate as long as it's near her people, and she's also happy to snuggle in bed, though her excitement sometimes makes bedtime feel like a party! She recently took her first bath and treated it like a spa day, even taking a nap once she realized how relaxing it was.

Overall, Charlie is an alert, intelligent, joyful puppy with so much potential. With continued training and socialization, she's going to be an incredible companion. She may have some setter or spaniel in her mix, and she's already showing hints of pointing behavior. Whether you're looking for a family dog, adventure buddy, cabin companion, or future sporting partner, Charlie is ready to learn and grow alongside you.
