When I first met Brodie, I wondered why he wasn't called Shadow, with how black his fur is and how clingy he is. This guy wants to be wherever you are, including right in your lap and trying to lick your face when you're sitting on the couch. He loves all people. He has some anxiety and is quite insecure in himself so he's constantly looking for reassurance from his humans.

Brodie gets along well with both of his canine foster siblings. He loves to wrestle and play chase with them. He does require slow introductions and might growl initially. Brodie mostly leaves the cats alone. He had some separation anxiety when he first came into foster care but has improved a lot since. He has been successfully left home alone for up to several hours at a time and he sleeps through the night quietly in his crate. There's a good chance he'd cause a bit of a fuss in a new place but give him a few weeks to settle in and feel safe and he's good.

Brodie does have resource guarding issues with food, but that is easily managed by feeding him in his crate, which he does so obligingly.

Brodie is the biggest 60lb lap dog you'll ever meet. All he wants is pets and cuddles and to be loved on. He's a super sweet dog.
