Beatrix is a gentle, food-loving pup with a uniquely charming personality and a quiet presence that fills a room. She’s not the type to demand attention, in fact, she’s never barked once! She’s got a sweet soul, a love of routine, and a few delightful quirks that make her unforgettable.

Beatrix is hearing-impaired, but you’d hardly notice as her incredible nose more than makes up for it. She absolutely lives for outdoor adventures, long walks, and sniffing every inch of her environment. Leaf piles, snuffle mats, hidden treats - you name it, she’s on it.

She’s wonderfully laid back, but mealtime (especially dinner!) brings out her playful, zoomie-filled side. Beatrix is very food motivated and knows how to sit like a pro. While she can be a bit stubborn at times, she’ll always come around if there’s a treat involved.

Beatrix has a few sensory quirks, strong wind or direct sunlight can make her a little uneasy, and stairs can be tricky. She sometimes skips the last step or two, but a gentle guiding hand helps her find her footing. She’s also a bit clumsy in the most endearing way, occasionally stepping in her water dish, tripping over her own paws, or bonking into a wall during a turn.

She prefers a slow, gentle start to her mornings and loves having multiple cozy beds to choose from (especially if there’s a pile of laundry nearby). She often puts herself to bed when she’s ready, and if she starts to doze off standing up, gently moving her to a bed nearby helps her settle in.
