Hi, I’m Augie. I may not run to the door to greet you on the first day, but if you sit quietly and wait, I will come sit with you and be by your side. I’ll show you how much I want to be loved. I’m a shy, sweet little guy who has been working on not being scared of everything. My foster mom says I’ve come a long way and can be a velcro dog just don’t stand up. It scares me! I love sitting at her feet while she works and I’m the first one to jump to watch tv with her and relax. I’m looking for a calm home with patient humans to help me continue to feel safe. I love treats, gentle ear scratches, and I’m starting to like to play with tug toys. My ideal home would have a confident dog or someone home that I can keep company. I don’t like to be alone. A fenced in yard would be preferred as I’ve been working on potty training. If you have the patience to go slow, I have a lifetime of love to give.
