Full Beard — The Mountain Man Division
For the bold and bearded. This category celebrates impressive full beards with natural growth extending from cheeks, chin, and mustache. Whether rugged and wild or perfectly groomed, length, fullness, shape, and overall presentation all matter.
 
Partial Beard — The Precision Scruff Division
Not quite full, but still fierce. This category includes goatees, chin straps, sideburns, anchor beards, designer stubble, and other partial facial hair styles. Judges will look for creativity, grooming, symmetry, and style.
 
Mustache — The Upper Lip League
It’s all about the mustache. From classic handlebars to bold chevrons, pencil-thin precision to wild curls—if the upper lip is your canvas, this is your category. Style, shape, flair, and personality take center stage.
 
Create A Beard — The Faux Show
No beard? No problem. This category is all about imagination and creativity using non-natural beards made from any materials—craft supplies, yarn, glitter, flowers, cardboard, or anything else you dream up. Originality and showmanship are encouraged.
 
Kids Beard — The Little Whiskers Class
For the youngest competitors with the biggest personalities. Kids can sport real (well… probably not), fake, silly, or handmade beards. This category celebrates creativity, confidence, and fun above all else.
 
Best Beard & Dog Duo — Whiskers & Wags Pairing
A competition for the ultimate human-canine team. Judges will look for standout beard style, dog charm, coordination, matching looks, costumes, and the overall bond between you and your four-legged sidekick.
 
Best Dog Beard — The Furry Face Division
Because sometimes the dogs have the best beards. Open to pups sporting naturally whiskered faces or creative beard-inspired costumes/accessories (safe and pet-friendly, of course). Personality, charm, and crowd appeal rule this category.
