Update: I have graduated from my first foster family and now on my second foster family. I currently have 5 other canine friends that I love wrestling with and cuddling up to for naps! I watch them interact with my foster humans and I’m beginning to trust them. I love the couch life!! I do take treats nicely from their hands. I am ok with sniffing hands but not a fan of being touched for scratches yet. I am very curious and always want to know what my foster canines are doing. Loud noise startled me. I unfortunately can not go outside yet but do amazing with pee pads. I am cat friendly but enjoy trying to play with them.
Meet Olive! Olive is a true beauty. Olive was born as a stray in rural ND the summer of 2019 and never had a human to care for her. She came to Journey Home after being caught and is learning to accept human interaction and touch. She had a rough first month as she has to have an emergency spay due to carrying 10 dead puppies inside her, and also tested positive for Lymes disease. She is now on the mend though!
Olive is extremely food motivated and dog friendly. She uses potty pads and is crate trained. Olive would love to have a friendly canine buddy to play with and learn how to interact happily with humans.
