To be a part of an animal's journey to a better life; to love and provide safety to their forever home, is something truly special and what animal rescue is all about.  It's what we strive for.

Ember

Update: My foster mom calls me Em-bear!  I look and feel like a little black bear.  I’m doing well and adapting to the house.  I had 2 accidents in the last week because I love to play nonstop and drink a lot of water.  I’m working on sit!  I enjoy playing outside in the snow and I don’t always want to go back inside.  Once I’m inside, I either wrestle or chew on dog toys.  When I’m tired, I like to cuddle up to my foster mom.  I bark at my reflection in glass or mirrors.  I sleep in my kennel the entire night.  I love food and treats!!!

I’m Ember!! I am still settling into my foster home and has been less than 24 hours.  I wrestled nonstop for 4 hours last night with my foster brother Stark, who is also looking for a forever.  I am very curious about cats and want to play with them too!  I have not had any accidents in the house and love going outside!  I am food motivated especially with treats!  I’m learning to kennel up and I slept in it last night.  I whined for a few minutes and then I was out like a light!  I am safe and living the best dog life!  However I do want a home to call my own!
