Hello! My name is Edison (Eddie). I came to Journey Home in pretty rough shape. My foster parents pulled over 130 ticks off of me! I had some dry feces and dirt in my fur, a scar on the front of my neck, and a bubble on my left eye. After going to the vet, it was discovered that I had a ruptured ulcer and lost vision in my eye. Due to this, I had to have my eye removed. I can be a little clumsy at times (running into stuff, or tripping up the stairs), but I think I am adjusting to having impaired vision. I am a sweet boy, and very playful. My playfulness has really shown itself as I’ve started to come out of my shell in my new foster home. I’ll bite softly to get your attention and let you know I want to play. I was recently introduced to my canine foster sister, and I really love playing with her as well. I also live with cats, but they keep to themselves and I don’t have much interest in them. My foster parents think I may still have some puppy in me! I have had a couple of accidents in the house, but I am getting better at potty training. I sleep in my kennel at night and I really love food! If I see you eating, I may start drooling as I stare at you! I’m a really happy boy and want to find a family who will play with me, love me, and treat me well!
