Hi, my name is Cowboy. I am a happy-go-lucky little guy! My tail wags so fast it is usually a blur in all my photos. I love to run and play outside. My foster family has me crate trained and I know that I can go in there to chill or take a nap. I do sleep in a nice fluffy plush bed with a few blankets at night. I like to curl up on top of a pile of blankets! I am on the skittish side and do take a while to warm up to new people. I am not much of a barker, but if I need your attention I do know how to use my voice. I really love kids! I actually prefer them. A few of my favorite things are butt scratches and skinny bones to chew on (I really like the ones that have meat twists around them). I prefer soft treats over hard milkbones. I am currently looking for my FURever family to love for the rest of my doggy days. If you have it in your heart to adopt 2 of us - you should take a look at my friend Lola - we have been together for 8 years!

Cowboy has recently had a cluster of petite seizures and an elevated white blood cell count. He has been put on medication to help control this. His medication regiment is currently as follows:

  • 1/2 a pill of  Phenobarbital (16.2 mg) - Long Term

    • 7am and 7pm

    • This could also increase the sleepiness
