Romeo is a big boy with an even bigger heart. He is completely potty trained, kennels with no complaints, rarely barks, so makes for an easy companion.
Romeo currently lives in a foster home with a a cat and several dogs of all sizes and ages and he gets along well with all his furry friends.
Romeo’s foster family also has four human children, ages 2-9 years old. Romeo gets along with all the humans in the house and has been very patient with the little friends that like to “take care of him” by doing his hair, checking his teeth, holding his hands (paws) and using him as a body pillow.
Romeo shows a preference for women, but has not shown any concerning reactions to males- he just needs more time and a gentle approach to be comfortable with males.
Romeo didn’t have an easy time before coming to rescue and, as a result, only has three legs. Romeo is able to get around with ease and loves to go for walks, wrestle with the other dogs, and can hop up on the couch with no problem. He has a little more trouble finding his footing on slippery floors, but it was easy to solve that issue by just tossing down a few extra rugs on the wood and tile floors.
Romeo is an amazing boy who deserves an amazing home with people willing to give him time to adjust to his surroundings and give him the love he deserves- he will love you back wholeheartedly!
