Hi! This is our foster dog, Pixel. She is a German Shorthaired Pointer. We are not exactly sure of her
age, but judging from her energy level, she must be a young dog. She lives in a home with a high
schooler and a sixth grader. She has been around young children but not for long periods of time. Fetch
is her favorite game and she will play for hours. In fact, she has no self control when a tennis ball comes
out and we often have to tell her when it is time to stop. A fence yard is best. She does well on a leash,
but has lots of energy she needs to burn each day. She is very smart and has slipped away from us a
few times. She takes herself visiting to the neighbors and seems proud of herself for her
accomplishments. Even if it does give her foster mom a mild heart attach. True to her breed, she loves
birds and will go on point if one is in the yard.

Pixel is nervous and unsure of herself. She needs a boost of confidence and reassurance from her family. She continues to need work on potty training but has made improvements. The kennel is not her favorite place. She is working hard with training and is slowly starting to understand that a kennel is not punishment and that we will return home to her. Pixel has gotten along well with our older dog. There have been some arguments and difference of opinion with our younger dog. She would need a slow introduction and a lot of reassurance in a home with another dog. Pixel is a very good dog that just needs a lot of love and has so much love to give.
