Otto is a sweet, loving, spunky little boy who loves to be his foster mom’s shadow. He is working very hard on potty training and crate training. He goes potty every time he goes outside and is getting better about going longer stretches in his kennel at night without needing to potty, frequently making it all night.

He cries for a little while when put in his kennel when foster family leaves for school/work and for bed time, but then settles in and is quiet through the night. He will cry in the morning to be let out to potty.

Otto loves to chew on and play with soft toys, blankets and chew bones. He will carry shoes around very proudly if they are available, so we keep them put away.

He loves to play with the resident dogs and is very well mannered when doing so. He also loves to follow his foster mom around the house and snuggle in her lap after a good play session that wears him out.

Otto is curious about the house cat, but respects her space when she vocalizes. He does not chase her or bark at her but likes to play with her if she will let him.

Otto is learning to sit for treats and to kennel for meal time. He will come on command and is very good about staying close to his humans outside.

Otto would love to be in a home with another pet to play with and teach him the ropes, but would also do well in a home as an only pet with a very attentive human to give him all the love and attention he deserves.

Otto can’t wait to find his forever home and show you what an amazing boy he is!
