Hey all you dog lovers out there! This is Mesa, lovingly known as “boss dog” by my fosters. I am a blue-eyed beauty looking for an adult human companion to shower me with affection. I am a quiet girl in general, so would do ok in a house or apartment. I LOVE being outside whenever possible, so if you have a fenced in yard, I would be in HEAVEN! I am house trained and kennel trained and sleep very quietly in my kennel, waiting patiently for my humans to rise in the morning. They really like that I am happy to “sleep in” especially on the weekends! I am very low key and like to take several naps throughout the day. The highlight of my week is jumping into the car to go for a ride to the cabin! So many interesting smells in the woods!

My current home has another girl dog that I play with sometimes and they also have a cat. They have an 11 year old human child who is very good at teaching me new things! I also love when my foster mom brings me to meet the children at her work place, as they LOVE to pet me and scratch my belly. I can sometimes get a little bossy with the resident dog and I really prefer to keep the cat up in high places.

I would love it if you adopt me into a home where I am the only pet, but I am willing to share your attention with another dog as long as they don’t try to be my boss!
