To be a part of an animal's journey to a better life; to love and provide safety to their forever home, is something truly special and what animal rescue is all about.  It's what we strive for.

Alexis

Hello there!!
My name is Alexis (Lexi for short)! I am currently on what foster mom calls a "shut-down period". When I first came to my foster home, I was VERY scared, so it was decided that I needed time to settle down and adjust to a new home before interacting with the house. I need a home that is willing to give me an adjustment period when I am adopted because a change in environment is scary for me. I would do best in a home with no small children, that doesn't have company over often because I am nervous around new people. I have met my foster mom's cats and I LOVE them! They are the perfect size for me! Her dogs are all a lot bigger than me, so I will wait to meet them for a while until I am settled in and healed from my spay. I do love my people, and I am very affectionate once I have time to get to know them! I am a very high energy puppy! Once I get my running out though, I really enjoy a good cuddle! I am not quite potty trained, but I am still adjusting to this new home, so foster mom expected a few accidents.
Stay tuned for more updates!
